Our Cafe Story
I’m Tina—busy wife, mom of three, stepmom of three, Titi to four grandbabies, and the caffeine queen behind The Caruzinn Café. A few years ago, life came at me fast: my youngest started toddling around, our schedule was wild, and I realized I needed more presence and more joy in my everyday life. So I stepped out of my construction career to help my husband with his contracting business—and on a whim (and a whole lot of caffeine), I bought a tiny trailer and started selling coffee on the side. What started as a little passion project has now turned into the bold, colorful, good-vibes-only café you’re standing in today, sharing a space with our family company, Fosters General Contracting, Inc.
“Caruzinn” is a mashup of my three kids’ names—Carly, Cruz, and Finn—and if you stop by often you already know the littlest one…our honorary mascot, hype man, and tiny tornado of charm. From day one, I wanted The Caruzinn Café to feel like stepping into happiness: saturated colors, big personality, loud laughs, and drinks that pack just as much punch as the décor. People come for the coffee, but they stay because the energy here is infectious—like walking into a hug with sprinkles on top.
Our staff is the heart of this place. They will always, always go above and beyond to make sure you leave happier than you came in. Families are welcome, kids included—we’ve even got a play area outside, soon to be decked out with a fence and a mural to match the full Caruzinn aesthetic.
All are welcome in this little world we’ve built. Grab a drink, soak in the vibe, and stay awhile. Around here, there’s no such thing as too much color, too much joy, or too many lattes.
